Tim Kister (born December 30, 1986) is a German footballer who plays as a defender for VfR Aalen. He played with various amateur clubs in his hometown of Frankfurt, before joining Dynamo Dresden in 2010. He made his 3rd Liga debut in the first match of the 2010–11 season, coming as a substitute for Jonas Strifler, and made another twenty appearances as the club finished 3rd and were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. He was released by the club at the end of the season, promptly signing for Aalen.
